Panama isn't just about the Canal. The country of Panama is<br>
a fabulous vacation spot. You'll find some of Central<br>
America's finest deep sea fishing, as well as the most<br>
beautiful reefs around which to snorkel. Look for vacation<br>
packages that match your interests. It's a great place full<br>
of beautiful scenery and fascinating wildlife. Panama is a<br>
bird watcher's paradise, offering an amazing variety of<br>
brightly colored birds.<br>

Seven tribes of indigenous people inhabit Panama, each with<br>
their own heritage and culture. Spanish heritage is<br>
celebrated throughout Panama, and you're sure to find<br>
festivals, both planned and spontaneous.<br>

If you are looking for adventure you~ll find it in Panama.<br>
You can ride the rapids, view an abundance of wildlife in<br>
one of the natural parks, swim in the warm waters of the<br>
Pacific Ocean, or snorkel among the reefs of the Caribbean<br>
Sea. You~ll never be bored and looking for something to<br>
do~and you~ll want to return time and time again. Keep in<br>
mind that there are some areas of Panama that you will want<br>
to visit only with the guidance of a tour guide. One of<br>
these areas is Dari~n National Park, which is a very wild<br>
and uninhabited area of Panama. When you are planning your<br>
vacation to Panama you will want to contact one of the many<br>
tour guide companies to make arrangements to visit Dari~n<br>
National Park with an experienced guide.<br>

The dry season is the best time to visit Panama. This is<br>
generally from mid-December to mid-April. The rainy season<br>
produces more humidity than most people can tolerate. Also,<br>
the rain comes down in short, sudden downpours that might<br>
ruin any outdoor adventure. There are some wild areas that<br>
you can reach only during the dry season. If you like<br>
parties, plan to be in Panama during carnival season.<br>
Sometime around Ash Wednesday is when you'll want to arrive.<br>
<br>
Other attractions for you in Panama are the Panama Canal,<br>
the Summit Botanical Gardens and Zoo, and the Parque<br>
Nacional Metropolitana. You'll love Panama on your first<br>
visit and want to hurry back!<br>
